Teams race to hand off various items to the team’s “packrat” who must hold all of the items without dropping them.

Game Setup:

Make piles of equipment with the same number of items in each. Split players into two teams and line them up. Pick one player to be the “packrat” and place them at the opposite end of the line from the piles of equipment.

Equipment:

A wide variety of equipment:

• Balloons
• Pins
• Jump Ropes
• Balls
• Noodles
• Beanbags
• Any other equipment…

Rules:

• When the game starts, the first player in line closest to the equipment grabs any one item and passes it to the next player in line.
• Players must pass it to each player on down to the “packrat” who must hold the item.
• If the “packrat” drops any item, that item must be brought back to the equipment pile by the last person in line and then that player returns to the end of the line.
• Only one item can be handed down the line at once. When an item reaches the “packrat”, the last person in line who gave the item to the “packrat” runs to the front to choose the next piece of equipment while all of the other players move back one position in the line.
• The first team to have their “packrat” holding all of the items wins.
• For multiple rounds, teams must switch the player who is the “packrat”.
